Happy Easter

Lucky Girl

Tonight at Pizza Perfect, Anne Grace played the claw game and won a spotted puppy dog. I really didn't think anyone ever won anything playing that game, but Anne Grace did! She was really excited!

Soccer Time

Anne Grace had her first soccer practice on Wednesday. She is playing on a league with a friend from her preschool. -Very cute to see three and four year olds running around on the soccer field.

Cupcakes and Traveling with Friends

Anne Grace asked if we could make cupcakes today to get ready for Easter. She tinted coconut green to make grass and planted a few jelly beans for eggs on top of each cupcake.
The new carseat has been such a hit. Now Anne Grace is riding in the very back of the van and she thought it would be great to have some friends with her. I got a quick shot of everyone that rode with us today- Chloe(doll), a bunny, a bear, and below you will see another bear and Peter Rabbit. Of course- they all had to be strapped in with seatbelts! The best was that we had to get all of them out of the car when we met Jason for lunch and then back in again afterwards.

She's getting so big!

Tonight Anne Grace got a new carseat. We were figuring it up and she had been in her old Britax carseat since she was the same age as Jane is now - five months old. So from five months to four years old she has been riding in that carseat. She was very excited about picking this one out today. She can buckle and unbuckle it on her own! She had outgrown the Britax so we had to bump up to the booster seat.

This weekend

Jason's parents came to visit us this weekend. We had lots of fun- a baby doll's birthday party, eating chinese, playing games and more!

A special visit

Last week we had a wonderful visit with Jack, James, and Kim. Anne Grace was thrilled to see them. Jane was excited to meet her cousins and aunt for the first time! We had so much fun with them. Today Anne Grace said, "I want to move to Virginia." We are most certainly missing them.

Getting ready to snuggle down for bedtime.
Snuggling...
We went bowling at Strike and Spare. The kids loved it!

Jack was very serious as he watched.

Dress up time- A cheerleader, doctor, and pirate

James snuck a peak at Jane in her crib.

Hot Dogs and Hula Hooping - the pictures

We had such a great day! The weather was beautiful and we had to return some baby gear to a friend we used to live by in East Nashville so we made a day of it. We stopped by the bakery to visit Dan and Ellen and snag some yummy cupcakes. We ate lunch at our favorite hog dog stand- I Dream of Weenie - "Nashville's only full service Weenery" that is housed in a VW van. We visited the cute art store- The Garage Mahal - Art and Invention to snag a cute vase. Also Anne Grace loves petting the dog - Samantha- at the art store. We shopped at a new store and then the highlight of the day happened- Hooparama on the lawn of the hot dog stand. The teacher of a hula hooping class came and brought her hoops. Everyone got to join in.

Hot Dogs and Hula Hooping- the video

So glad to be able to share with you this treasure of a video! The funniest thing is that they start at the exact same moment. Synchronized hooping from the Hoopers-
